Professor Chan is currently the Clinical Assistant Professor of the Department of Clinical Oncology, School of Clinical Medicine, HKUMed.

She obtained the Fellowship in Royal College of Radiologist in Clinical Oncology and the Fellowship of Hong Kong College of Radiologist. After her fellowship, she obtained the MSc in Palliative Medicine (Cardiff, UK) in 2017. She was awarded Hong Kong West Cluster Overseas Specialty Clinical Attachment Training Fund for her elective on head & neck and thyroid cancer in the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Professor Chan is active in research with her interest focusing on thyroid and endocrine malignancy, breast cancer and upper gastrointestinal cancer. She is a Council Member of the Hong Kong Head and Neck Society. She published in peer-review journals and has presented in various local and international cancer conferences.
