Dr. Valerie Ho is currently working as Associate Consultant in the Division of Head and Neck Surgery and Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Department of Surgery at Queen Mary Hospital. She is also Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Surgery, School of Clinical Medicine, HKUMed.
Dr. Ho graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2009. She received her basic surgical training at Tuen Mun Hospital, followed by plastic surgery training at Kwong Wah Hospital since 2012. She obtained MRCS(Edin) in 2012, followed by fellowship in plastic surgery in 2016. She had overseas training at the Reconstructive Microsurgery Division and Craniofacial Centre at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan, as well as overseas attachment in Paris and Tokyo. She also obtained a Diploma in Practical Dermatology, Cardiff University.
Her areas of interest include head and neck surgery and reconstruction, ear reconstruction, breast reconstruction, body contouring surgery, and robotic surgery. She is also actively involved in research on tissue engineering.
