Dr. Cheuk Wah is a distinguished pathologist with extensive expertise in general pathology and subspecialty interests encompassing hematolymphoid, head and neck, soft tissue, gynecological, eye pathology, and autopsy. He currently serves as the Director of Pathology Services at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) and is the Chief of Service for the Pathology Department.
Dr. Cheuk Wah obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with First Class Honours from the University of Hong Kong in 1993, followed by his MBBS degree in 1996, graduating with distinctions in surgery, paediatrics, and community medicine.
Throughout his career, he has contributed significantly to medical research and education, with over 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals, along with 10 book chapters covering various topics. He has also authored more than 10 chapters in the 4th and 5th editions of the WHO Classification of Tumours, focusing on areas such as Head and Neck, Endocrine Organs, Digestive System Tumors, Bone and Soft Tissue, Lung, Pleura, Thymus, Heart, Hematopoietic and Lymphoid Tissues, and Skin.
