Dr. Ann Chan, is a graduate of the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Medicine in 2006. She had studied molecular genetics in cancer disease in her postgraduate studies as Master of Research in Medicine. She had been practicing in Department of Clinical Oncology in Queen Mary Hospital since 2008 and completed her fellowship of Clinical Oncology in 2013. Her practice focuses on breast cancer, head and neck cancer, colorectal cancer and palliative medicine which she obtained her palliative medicine specialist in 2019. She coordinates multi-disciplinary meetings and being authors of clinical departmental guidelines in different cancer disease. She is currently the council member of Hong Kong Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma Study Group and member of Hong Kong Breast Oncology Group, Hong Kong Head and Neck Society and Hong Kong Society of Palliative Medicine. She had oversea SBRT training in Sunnybrook Health Science Center, Toronto.
Currently Dr Chan is Consultant in Queen Mary Hospital and Honorary Clinical Associate Professor in The University of Hong Kong. She was also awarded scholarships during her post-graduate studies and Hong Kong West Cluster Young Achiever award and Queen Mary Hospital Outstanding Staff Award in Hospital Authority in 2021. She was recently awarded best oral presenter in HA Convention 2024.
