About HKIHNC
The Department of Surgery of The University of Hong Kong first organised the Head and Neck Course in 1994. Since then, the Head and Neck Course has been an annual head and neck scientific meeting well-attended by local delegates.
The Hong Kong International Head and Neck Conference is a continuation of the Head and Neck Course. The aim is to extend our reach to peers and colleagues in the Greater Bay Area of China, and act as a bridge between the East and West. Distinguished academics and professionals in the field of head and neck surgery from both worlds are brought together for knowledge exchange.
As part of the scientific program, an esteemed scholar in the field of head and neck surgery will be invited to deliver the Hong Kong International Head and Neck Conference named lecture – William I. Wei Lecture.

Welcome to the Hong Kong International Head and Neck Conference 2026!
We are delighted to invite you to join us in Hong Kong on 12–13 June 2026 for this premier gathering of head and neck surgeons, oncologists, and allied health professionals from around the world.
Highlights of this year’s scientific program include the William I. Wei Lecture, to be delivered by Professor Floyd Christopher Holsinger from Stanford University School of Medicine, followed by four scientific panels and round-table case discussions. These sessions will cover the latest advances, innovations, and key areas of interest in head and neck surgery.
In addition, a pre-conference “Live-Surgery and Movies Day” will showcase most, if not all, contemporary robotic head and neck surgical procedures. A distinguished panel of renowned robotic head and neck surgeons will demonstrate techniques while sharing valuable pearls and pitfalls from their experience.
We cordially invite you to join us at the upcoming Conference, an excellent platform to stay abreast with cutting-edge developments in head and neck surgery, interact with the faculty, engage with industry partners, and reunite with old friends and colleagues.

William I. Wei Lecture
Established in 2022, the William I. Wei Lecture is endowed by the Department of Surgery of the University of Hong Kong in honour of Professor William I. Wei. Professor Wei is known for his dedication to management of head and neck cancer and his interest in international medicine. He is one of the pioneers bridging the eastern and western medical communities.
