Dora Kwong

Professor Kwong obtained her MBBS and MD degrees from the University of Hong Kong. She joined the Department of Radiotherapy and Oncology after graduation and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (Clinical Oncology) in 1993 and a Fellow of the Hong Kong College of Radiologists in 1996. She joined the Department of Clinical Oncology, the University of Hong Kong since 1995. She is currently Clinical Professor of the Department.

Her research interests include head and neck cancers with emphasis on nasopharyngeal carcinoma, esophageal and gastrointestinal cancers and paediatric cancers. There are ongoing clinical trials and basic research for these diseases. As a radiation oncologist, she is also interested in radiation induced complications and researches on advancing improved technology in radiation treatment.
